Technology Unveiled to Private Audience
On Thursday the 28th Jetstream Wind hosted a celebration of achievement in clean technology. We invited investors, sponsors and potential sponsors to a private unveiling of Climate Kitchen.
Climate Kitchen is quite a bold step forward in the creation of both zero-emission vehicle technology and clean, renewable power production on small and extremely large scales.
With the ability to create its own power and then utilize that power as both fuel for the vehicle and electricity as a mobile craft services business, it will literally have the capacity to travel across the country on water.
Leading up to our Thursday’s event was exciting and special for us all as we made preparations to bring the outside world into our inner one. We even took extra steps to assure our guests would be as comfortable as possible during transport to our corporate building, since the forecast called for a decent sized blizzard to stomp on us throughout the day.
Early into Thursday’s afternoon, however, what we saw out our windows was akin to a white blanket being draped over the building preventing one from seeing even the street outside at times. We’re in the capital city of Santa Fe where snow definitely does happen, but what hit us was a blizzard coupled with an ice storm that had even the government offices close at 2:00 p.m. Highways and freeways surrounding us quickly turned into ice skating rinks with cars on them.
We here at Jetstream Wind and Remote Renewable Resources all have something in common though. We tend to move ahead and weather through any “storm” as we held our ground, ready to greet any who would be able to travel in such weather.
I’d like to say that we were surprised, but we were not when 6:00 p.m. came around (doors were supposed to open at 7:00) and the first faces were shuttled to our door. Soon after that, the next shuttle arrived, followed by the next, and the next, and the next…all braving drastic and dangerous weather and road conditions in order to be with us.
Almost 150 people later the moment arrived. The theme music from 2001-A Space Odyssey sounded, and Gary Lockwood (actor in the movie), accompanied by his daughter, actress Samantha Lockwood entered the front stage to stand next to Henry Herman and all of the Jetstream Wind and R3 crew. The large curtain that protected Climate Kitchen from view dropped just as giant spotlights lit up the snow-filled sky above in a spectacular show of light and sound, showing the first 150 people what the future of clean energy technology looked like.
Jeane Champion of “She’s Crafty” and Remote Renewable Resources impressed everyone with her craft service skills and produced a feast for the palate, giving us all a sample of what food should taste like, and showing us why she’s so popular in the film industry. Dark Road Productions, Howlin’ Coyote Productions, Equipo, Kindora Big Deal Productions, and the Leonetti Company all came together to orchestrate what only geniuses could and produced the scale of a show that would have made you think you were standing on Hollywood Boulevard. All of this on what I believe was the coldest night of my life, while “The Gumbo Project” played in the main bay and rocked the house like only those in Santa Fe can do.
We wish to thank everyone who donated their time and assistance, and also those who provided their talents, energy and professionalism to this historical event.
Our official public unveiling of Climate Kitchen is scheduled for March of this year.
