The Jetstream Initiative: Conclusion

The Jetstream Initiative simultaneously, directly and positively addresses the current crises in the following areas:

• the national economy
• environmental pollution
• dependency on foreign sources of energy
• balance of payments

It proposes a balance of public leadership and private management to efficiently coordinate and organize the optimal solution to all of these problems in a timely manner. Financing will involve all sectors from individual investment in National Alternative Energy Bonds, to bank financing, to federal guarantees of the development loans.

Participation is invited at all levels from individual to small business to large business and utilities so that the public will quickly get the message that large scale positive change is proceeding forward and everyone is included.

We encourage the federal government to implement the necessary regulatory structures and expedite the approval process in advance so that this initiative can roll out quickly and proceed at optimal speed.

Our successful resolution of these problems will enhance the perception of the United States as a world leader.
