  • The Jetstream Initiative: Explanation of Solution   2 weeks 1 day ago
Disadvantages inherent in the combination of wind and transmission line towers are:   1. All transmission lines are not necessarily located in areas of high wind velocity. For the system to work in a cost effective manner, the wind turbines should be place where winds are good.   2. Because the turbines would be located on the same tower and above the transmission lines,        a. Repair and adjustment of the turbine systems would prove both difficult and hazardous due to the high voltage lines below.       b. Any blade destruction occurrence might result in a damaged blade falling on the power lines.

My pleasure, Kay.  Thank you for taking the time to visit our site.  Education around renewable energy is a vital piece in the overall development of sustainable practices.

Our practices, then and through understanding and a little elbow grease, can become standards we can all be proud to apply.

I’m a small time investor living in T or C, NM.  Are there currently any investment opportunities within your company?

  • MegaWhat?   7 weeks 5 days ago

I’m very interested in watching your company grow.  I’ve been on many websites while learning about renewable energy and find that Jetstream Wind is a good place to go to and do just that!

Thank you for your explanation of a megawatt.

People tend to be irresponsible about nature now days and I am happy to read that you are one of those people who tend to act on this issue.  I am a follower of the organizations for taking good care of nature. Actually I am helping by producing nature essays. My essay topics are usually about climate change, different kinds of pollutions and laws covering nature. Well, I hope your movement will be successful. Good Luck.

  • Question on Business Model   17 weeks 4 days ago

    Hi Henry!

I was one of the walkers passing through your Santa Fe territory today (Thursday, Nov 5th) and was very taken by your passion and ‘renaissance’ way of thinking about solutions for the modern world.  I am currently only just a behaviorist (i.e. licensure as a profesional therapist) working as an administrator of federal behavioral health funds.

How does this relate to your work?  I am not completely certain yet of the connection, yet I feel as though the harmonic/audio work you are currently involved in has a systemic (i.e. physical health, mental health, substance abuse health) provider appeal to it.  I need a few days to process what I heard from you today to compare with what I know of our behavioral health systemic work being done.  I am a bit slow at processing and extrapolating…apologies.

Anyway, I wanted to give you kudos for your forward-thinking experiment with audio-vibrational technology and would like to ask if it is okay to occasionally stop by your facilty in Santa Fe to check out what you are up to.  I am not a scientist, and my intentions are good, as I suspect you knew when you were talking so candidly with us today.  It is just a delight to chat with someone with big ideas and thoughts.

Be well, good luck, and hopefully I will run into you soon,

    Karan Northfield

  • Question on Business Model   22 weeks 16 hours ago

I do not know the details of Jtstream business model, but I guess the answer could be that they are thinking on making profit on the Hydrogen sales, besides of the energy sales, for other uses, or even for hydrogen car recharge.

Also could be to accelerate investment amortization by selling a derivative product that could be obtained in their manufacturing process ( medical oxygen sales),but that requires additional ivestment and operation costs.

    Hello Denis,

Sorry for the delay in getting a response to your excellent question.  I have asked some of the technical people in Jetstream to post a reply, however they are extremely busy these days so it might take a bit more time for you to hear back.  I will keep bugging them and hope to get an answer for you soon. :-)

Henry, only you would come up with such a concept for the environment! I applaude you and am so proud of your achievement! I think, this new technology for not only NM but the US as a whole was way overdue! This is huge H! and creating a diverse way of achieving energy for our country is going to save our environment! I congratulate you!

And please feel free to contact us anytime.  Our goal is not only to assist in the development of clean energy technology, but to also give accurate information about this process.  It is a big step for humanity and we realize this with great respect to those who wish to learn more.

  • Unrealistic?   37 weeks 2 days ago

The U.S. has an energy policy that is antiquated at best and has never tried to look toward the future or at the environment. So if you have an alternative idea I would love to hear it Mr. Davidson. You want to be convinced but to what end? Naysayers are a dime a dozen, but good ideas whose time has come are always welcome and if you want to be a part of the future of the new energy policy, roll up your sleeves and contribute and participate!!!

  • Unrealistic?   49 weeks 4 days ago

Those are some nice generalizations, but which national laboratories are evaluating the project?  Which turbine manufacturers and transmission authorities have you established open communications with?  And who are these outstanding people that are backing this project?

Don’t get me wrong, I want to believe in this, I just remain skeptical until I see some more concrete facts.

  • Unrealistic?   49 weeks 5 days ago

Thanks for your thoughts, Ron.  I think the reason that it “feels good” is because it actually is good.

Jetstream Wind, Inc. has put in over 50,000 collective hours of research into this concept in the last fiscal year alone, and it is currently being evaluated by several national laboratories.  The feasibility studies have been completed, and open communications with wind turbine manufacturers and transmission authorities have been established.

Ideas are a dime a dozen, yes, until they go beyond thought.

Not only significant effort, but also a considerable amount of funding have gone into what was once a concept and has now become an actual solution to the grave economic and environmental circumstances we now face.  And yes, this project is backed with outstanding people, solid finances, and a careful eye on the political environment.

We’re walking the walk that began with a “nice idea” — but the difference is that nice ideas, taken to the next level, produce solutions.

  • The Jetstream Initiative: Benefits   49 weeks 5 days ago

    Good question Ron,

The figures actually work out much better after Production Tax Credits for renewably generated electric, Carbon Credits for not producing CO2, Renewable Energy Certificates, The MACRS 5 year depreciation for equipment and all available transmission line incentives.

Payback with these incentives is between 6 and 7 years depending on average wind over the entire system.

A very acceptable rate of return which matches the Return On Investment for wind farms nationwide.

    Thanks!

  • The Jetstream Initiative: Benefits   49 weeks 6 days ago

I really like this concept overall.  However, I just don’t see that it works financially.

Let’s say 6 million jobs are created at an average salary of $30k/yr, and let’s say the materials:labour cost ratio is 60:40.  That would mean a cost of $450B per year.  If there is a 7-year rollout, that’s a total cost of over $3T.

If the project generates $5T over 30 years, that means the $3T breakeven takes 18 years.  Where are you going to find $3T in investment dollars — including government input — that is willing to accept an 18-year payback?

  • The Jetstream Initiative: Executive Summary   49 weeks 6 days ago

This revenue is derived two ways.

    1. From the sale of generated electric from the lines itself.

    2. From the sale of line excess capacity (wheeling fees) for electric moved through the lines.

  • The Jetstream Initiative: Executive Summary   49 weeks 6 days ago

If you go over to the "revenue generated" page, it says that $169 billion can be injected yearly into the US economy. How is this possible?

  • The Jetstream Initiative: Executive Summary   50 weeks 1 day ago

Mr. President, I think we have our solution!
